The Supply Chain Planning Lead is the functional design authority for Oracle Fusion Cloud Demand Management, Supply Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) within our Fusion ERP transformation. The role owns the design and configuration of planning scope, forecast processes, planning hierarchies, supply policies, capacity assumptions, and planning scenarios, along with the governance that turns demand signals into executable supply decisions.
Federal compliance, controlled-data, and export-control requirements are set as policy by the Federal Compliance Lead and the Legal, Security, and Export Compliance teams. The Planning Lead determines how those requirements affect forecasts, supply plans, planning organizations, scenarios, reports, and collaboration with suppliers or external planning systems.
This is a functional design and configuration role, not a policy-authorship role. It is distinct from the Security & Access Architect, who controls who can access planning data in Fusion. The Planning Lead controls how planning data is structured, processed, governed, and converted into supply-chain decisions.
