Job Overview & Responsibilities

Mythics seeks an experienced  Managed Services, PeopleSoft Financials Functional Consultant with expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Procurement to join our ERP Managed Services Practice.  The primary focus  is working closely with our customers to support Oracle’s PeopleSoft Financials production and non-production environments. Candidate must be proficient in solution design, business process analysis, configuration, testing and system integration.  

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support PeopleSoft Financials Modules - GL, AR, AP, and Procurement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights, recommendations, and solutions to optimize client’s use of PeopleSoft Financials products
  • Serve as main point of contact throughout support ticket lifecycle and identify, assess and solve complex business problems
  • Review and map business processes and client requirements to best practice delivered functionality
  • Troubleshoot daily issues stemming from client day to day business processes
  • Thoroughly test developed solutions to ensure client success and signoff
  • Analyze client processes and collaborate to identify/implement optimizations through configuration
  • Train end users on system functionality
  • Lead client meetings to demonstrate root cause analysis and guide clients through solution proof of concept
  • Act as a liaison between client and internal technical teams to ensure technical requirements are completed on time with accuracy
  • Collaborate internally to discuss cross module dependencies to ensure wholistic solutions
  • Interact with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach or approval of hours
  • Cultivate and maintain trusting client relationships to establish long-term partnerships
  • Create how-to knowledge transfer documentation to enable client self-sufficiency
  • Create and manage oracle SRs when necessary
  • Participate in the creation of tools, templates, and/or new processes when you see room for improvement
  • Work independently to manage your assigned workload, escalate when necessary
  • Flexibility working across multiple time zones (EST-PST) to ensure continuous progress on client issues
  • Provide support as needed when new features/functionality are released

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, information systems, computer science and/or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of work experience in technology managed services, preferably PeopleSoft Financials Applications
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing or supporting PeopleSoft Financials, including GL, AR, AP, and Procurement
  • Experience as a senior team lead in the implementation lifecycle of at least 3 PeopleSoft projects with GL, AR, AP, and Procurement
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Commitment to gaining exposure in multiple industries
  • Ability and willingness to travel
