The Federal Account Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities in cloud technologies within the federal government sector. They develop key relationships, strategies, and plans to expand the business, act as a liaison with government agencies, and ensure the implementation of the company's federal sales strategy. This is a remote position located in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area.
What You'll Do:
Drive direct sales of Mythics' Oracle solutions and consulting services to Federal Accounts.
Identify and generate leads through RFX responses, campaigns, networking, events, and other sources.
Leverage your trusted advisor relationships to promote and sell Mythics services.
Develop and maintain strong executive-level relationships within the customer base.
Convert leads into a qualified sales pipeline and drive them through the sales cycle.
Stay informed on industry trends and client needs to craft and deliver compelling value propositions.
Lead and manage strategic, complex sales processes effectively.
Align with Oracle Channel and collaborate on co-selling initiatives with Oracle’s sales team.
Maximize sales profitability, growth, and account penetration, both directly and through the Oracle partner ecosystem.
Manage accounts throughout the sales process, working closely with Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to identify and address customer needs.
Travel to client sites to explore and develop new sales opportunities.
Participate in developing, presenting, and selling the Mythics value proposition.
Deliver engaging presentations to customers at all leadership levels, including C-suite executives.
Serve as a liaison for customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and driving revenue growth
What You Bring:
Experience in selling within the professional services industry is highly desired.
Minimum 5+ years of enterprise-level Federal sales experience, with at least 3+ years in cloud solutions.
Strong understanding of Cloud solutions, including Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Artificial; Intelligence, or Business Intelligence (BI).
Proven experience selling Oracle Cloud engagements such as OCI, ERP, HCM, EPM, and Analytics.
Expertise in expanding solution footprints through cross-selling and upselling strategies.
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a diverse team.
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently while also contributing as a team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership.
Ability to manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process.
Strong qualification and opportunity management skills, developing and converting leads into sales.
Strategic approach to account planning, working closely with local market teams to develop winning strategies.
Ability to establish credibility and trust with key client contacts and the Oracle Channel.
Skill in identifying client business needs and positioning appropriate solutions.
Ability to meet and exceed sales targets aligned with business growth objectives.
Experience working with partners (such as Oracle) to market and sell solutions collaboratively.
Commitment to contributing to a strong sales culture and making a significant impact within the team.
Expertise in developing and managing a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
