Mythics is seeking a Associate Cloud Developer for our rapidly growing Oracle Software as a Service (SaaS) practice.  These solutions are core to our business and delivery activities with a wide range of Public Sector, Commercial, Higher Ed, Healthcare and Federal Government customers. Candidate will work directly with a Senior member of the team as your mentor.  You will support a variety of projects developing Integrations, Data Conversion and Reports for Oracle Cloud Business Applications.  The solutions that you develop will contribute directly to the Digital Transformation of our customer base with products and tools built using Oracle Cloud Development tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and set up new Data Conversions using Oracle Cloud Development tools
• Create ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Integrate with third-party tools via REST API’s
• Develop programs to automate internal business processes
• Write reports using SQL and Oracle reporting tools
• Participate in engineering design analysis, identification, and recommendation of solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication

• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience
• Classroom or job experience in programming
• Classroom or job experience writing SQL
• Experience writing web-based applications is a plus
• Programming experience in languages such as python, Java, REST API’s is a plus
• Ability to self-manage assigned tasks and work on multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze and fix problems quickly
• Ability to review code and figure out how it works, and how to make it better
• Good communication skills
