Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Partner Channel Manager is a REMOTE position. In this role, you are responsible for creating a partner program that organizes Mythics Emergent Group strategic and tactical partnering activities, generating efficiencies in developing, servicing, and growing relationships with our company’s partners and suppliers. This role builds relationships with companies outside our organization in support of our sales strategies for distribution and sales of our products and services. The Partner Channel Manager researches and identifies partners and suppliers, qualifies and screens potential partners and suppliers, handles negotiations and sets proper expectations regarding desired partnership behaviors and outcomes. This role also establishes mutually beneficial and properly binding agreements and cultivates fruitful relationships over the long term. This role organizes and manages our business partners and suppliers on an on-going basis and executes and communicates a comprehensive supplier plan.  The Partner Channel Manager will provide goal achievement and metric reports, create, and implement training, manage periodic partner performance reviews, and enact program improvements to achieve company, diversity, and individual goals. The Partner Channel Manager will use data analysis, critical thinking, and interpersonal relationship skills to complete work requirements and build and develop a comprehensive partner and supplier program.


Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Lead joint partner planning processes that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Work with Mythics Emergent Group subject matter experts to assess and validate partner/ supplier’s skills, qualifications, and socioeconomic status.
  • Coordinate the involvement of support, service, and management resources to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Work with sales to ensure that assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts are met.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Support solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Collaborate with Contracts to establish controls ensuring partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Proactively recruit new qualifying partners in alignment with program needs, capacity constraints and program/company goals.
  • Support the company’s diversity goals, projects, and events or activities to align with the company’s partner strategy.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other key stakeholders across the MEG enterprise’s partner function.
  • Monitor, track and report partners and supplier’s performance with MEG key leaders.
  • Provide feedback and gather input about the success of the company’s partner strategy to MEG key leaders, continuously improve and enhance program approach.
  • Establish streamlined onboarding and offboarding of partners in coordination with the Contracts team and with OOP for awareness and approval.
  • Participate in external networking events such as supplier conferences.
  • Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8 – 10 years of channel management, partner/supplier program, and/or channel sales/marketing experience.
  • Experience in creating and cultivating a supplier program or diversity program through coaching, collaboration, and/or training.
  • Experience working within IT professional services, public sector market and working with OEMs a plus.
  • Travel is a possibility for specific customer, team and/or company meetings, events, etc.
