    Mythics is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Infrastructure and Security Engineer with strong AWS experience to provide technical leadership and solution design, development and implementation for a large DoD project.   The Sr. Cloud Engineer will lead a team of engineers and developers supporting the architecture, analysis, design, development, integration, and administration of a COTS based application in AWS GovCloud and Salesforce.com, to include PeopleSoft Campus Solution, Oracle Identity and Access Management, Oracle WebCenter Portal, and associated COTS and custom developed components and integrations.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Provide hands-on leadership in development of Security Documentation, ATO, System, Security, and Network Design Documentation, and other documentation needed to support the project
    • Apply best practices to assure the security, integrity, and performance of infrastructure, applications, and integrations within the AWS and Salesforce environments
    • Perform as-is and to-be architecture analysis and develop physical and logical architecture models for the application, web and mid-tier environments
    • Establish and apply best practices, to ensure successful implementation of security, network, and solution designs through collaborative project team communication, planning documentation, system testing, and defect resolution
    • Support the Analysis, Planning, Design, and Implementation of solutions on AWS GovCloud, Salesforce.com while adhering to established DoD security standards and guidelines
    • Provide senior-level technical troubleshooting on complex issues requiring rapid resolution
    • Manage day-to-day efforts toward project accomplishments
    • Participate in project planning and project status communications
    • Opportunity to provide mentoring to junior team members

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass a Background Check (current clearance preferred)
    • Willing to travel to Colorado Springs, CO approximately 50%-75%
    • 10+ years of overall technology architecture, engineering or consulting experience
    • 5+ years of experience infrastructure, networking, and security engineering and implementation
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related major
      • Equivalent work experience can be substituted for degree
    • AWS Professional Certification in Architecture, DevOps, or SysOps
    • Experience engineering and architecting solutions on AWS, including specific expertise with:
      • EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Load Balancer, CloudFront, Route 53, and Direct Connect
    • Experience with FedRAMP Implementation (DoD SRG, DoD RMF, NIST 800-52 R4)
    • Experience with DoD 8570.01 Baseline Certification – Min Level 2
    • Experience with DoD Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture, NetOps, and SysOps
    • Experience developing Design Documentation, Security Plans, and other documentation

     

    Desired:

    • Local to Colorado Springs, CO
    • Experience implementing and securing Salesforce.com
    • Experience implementing and securing AWS GovCloud
    • Experience with Oracle Middleware and Identity and Access Management
    • Hands-on experience with Python, NodeJS, and Scripting in AWS
    • CSSP Certifications, SOC Engineering, SOC Operations, Malware, Incident Response, and IOC
