  • Job Overview & Responsibilities

    The Lead SaaS Solutions Representative is a senior-level professional services sales role responsible for growing our Oracle SaaS services business within a set territory.  This role interacts strategically with the Oracle Field Sales team and the Mythics team to identify, cultivate and close on new business.  This role nurtures and develops strong vendor relationships within Oracle, and as a trusted advisor, defines and closes strategic projects within the Public Sector. This position exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to work performed.

     

    Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

    • Fulfill the role of trusted advisor through ability to leverage the extended Mythics team to develop strategic opportunities within the Public sector.
    • Be the primary sales liaison within the delivery team and own the development and management of customer relationships within the Public Sector – all while working in tight coordination with the Oracle Field Sales teams.
    • Build and execute complex account strategies and sales plays to develop and close new business opportunities within assigned territory.
    • Maintain effective relationships with Operations personnel, Consulting and PMO leadership and personnel and align to company as well as the client’s practices and goals.
    • Nurture and develop strong relationships with potential customers and extend reach within their organizations.
    • Act as a point of escalation for customers and Oracle on delivery issues and work with Consulting leadership to find appropriate resolution.
    • Stay abreast of Oracle product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources.
    • Complete documentation and reporting requirements in support of the sales process.
    • Perform all other duties, as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
    • 10 + years’ software sales experience.
    • 5 – 7 years’ experience in an enterprise level software consulting or services sales role with proven track record of attaining and exceeding annual quota.
    • Experience working within matrixed teams to identify, document and close consulting engagements that leverage an enterprise level SaaS offering.
    • Experience working with vendor field organizations.
    • Experience working within the Public sector.

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs):

     

    • Knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycle, from a “services” selling standpoint.
    • Knowledge of Oracle SaaS and Cloud-based offerings.
    • Ability to rapidly assess customer environments from a business process, organizational and technological perspective, and effectively communicate opportunities for growth.
    • Ability to collaborate, build and execute complex account strategies and sales plays.
    • Ability to anticipate problems and recommend innovative solutions; achieve customer satisfaction through the sale of sound consulting projects.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Advanced presentation skills.
    • Strategic-thinking skills with ability to collaborate with clients and team members on best practices.
    • Strong time management and self-management skills.
    • Ability to work independently, with minimal oversight.
    • Ability to use NetSuite or other CRM system, and MS Office applications, including Word & Excel.
    • Ability to travel up to 35%.
