    Mythics has an immediate need for a Technical Support personnel to join our Platform Consulting team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting many clients.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Tech Support Analyst will ensure stability in the production, UAT and TST environments supporting critical business applications
    • Responding to application support/trouble calls from both the internal and external user base
    • Resolving application trouble/support calls
    • Tracking trouble/support calls
    • Configuring systems or applications using administrative interfaces;
    • Recommend and implement code changes, system redesign and/or system improvements to improve the scalability of the application to handle the Peak Volume periods
    • Administering application and related application and database settings such as preferences, user permissions, and reports
    • Software Management ‐ tracking requests for bug fixes, enhancements, or modifications to existing systems; assess and document the level of effort to address requests; organize and group requests into releases and/or patches
    • Constant monitoring of the portal and applications will be performed to identify problems and causes
    • Ensure timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding SLA's
    • Work with business to prioritize production issues for resolution
    • Assist Application Manager/Development Lead in providing management status reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
    • Ensure that all documentation has been updated and that work product meets compliance requirements
    • Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
    • Act as a liaison between development resources and business
    • Provide estimates on all break/fix, and problem-management activities
    • Identify application performance improvement initiatives and implement the same in consultation with the Application Manager
    • Work with the Application Manager/Development Lead in process improvement initiatives as assigned

    Qualifications

      • Permanent Resident or Citizen of U.S. and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
      • 2+ years of experience in IT working on operation support
      • Associate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information systems, or other applicable field and/or equivalent work experience
      • Strong SQL, reporting and analytical skills
      • UNIX scripting in any flavor
      • Batch jobs/Scheduling
      • Thorough understanding of SDLC processes
      • Understanding Incident management and Problem Management
      • Ability to lead technical meetings for high profile issues, as well as provide technical direction towards resolving issues
      • Have performed troubleshooting in a development or production support role
