    Mythics is currently seeking a Sr. Oracle WebCenter Development SME to support the analysis, design, development, integration, and testing of Oracle Fusion Middleware bases projects, with specific emphasis on Oracle WebCenter Portal and Content, in addition to other related technologies, including Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS), Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Identity & Access Management, and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF). 

    • Support the analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and implementation of packaged and custom applications using Oracle WebCenter technologies
    • Provide hands-on technical consulting, including analyzing system requirement, systems development, process analysis, and application design, development, testing, and deployment. 
    • Utilize software development techniques and methodologies to build streamlined and efficient portal-based applications and integrations, including taskflow pages, spaces, portlets, workflows, content integration, and user interfaces.
    • Provide senior-level technical troubleshooting on complex issues requiring rapid resolution related to Oracle WebCenter applications and environments. 
    • Support development of security model, authentication/authorization, metadata model, services, and external system integrations with WebCenter developed applications
    • Support unit testing, system testing, functional testing, and remediation of applications developed on the WebCenter platform
    • Support the deployment and operations of WebCenter applications from Development through Production
    • Analyze requirements and develop proof-of-concept and prototypes using appropriate tools and technologies, under the leadership of the project technical architect.
    • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology initiatives.
    • Manage day-to-day efforts toward project accomplishments with general direction from senior technical staff
    • Participate in project planning and project status communications.
    • The position requires the ability to work individually or in a team environment.
    • Prioritization of day-to-day activities and long-term project-oriented tasks is essential.
    • The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.


    • Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain required security clearance
    • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or another engineering major or equivalent experience
    • 10+ year of progressive experience in a technical and/or consulting role
    • 5+ years of experience in developing systems and applications using WebCenter, SOA, and Java EE technology platforms
    • Expert understanding of methods for diagramming code, designing process flows and web forms, and mapping data elements across a process
    • Expert understanding of systems and software engineering, development, and testing concepts and techniques, including SDLC, unit/integration testing, and configuration management
    • Strong expertise in development using JavaEE, JSP, Javascript, WSRP, XML, XSLT, XPATH, XQuery, HTML, and CSS technologies
    • Ability to learn new tools and technologies using documentation and tutorials
    • Ability to think collaboratively and independently in solving problems and developing solutions
    • Experience working with a Java IDE such as JDeveloper, Eclipse, NetBeans
    • Experience working with ticketing systems (Jira, Remedy, etc.)
    • Experience working with source control management systems (Git, BitBucket, SVN, etc.)
    • Exposure to database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2)
    • Basic knowledge of SQL, JDBC, and Oracle DB (not DBA level)
    • Ability to maintain multiple tasks/projects efficiently with general supervision
    • Self-motivated, accountable & responsible.
    • Comfortable working in both team and autonomous situations.
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
    • Ability to learn new technologies and collaborate with team members to exchange information
